ROBIN WILLIAMS

( 1951 - 2014 )

The man with Peter Pan syndrome went flying too soon. He had eyes sparkling with humanity, made jokes way over the speed limit, had a gift for impressions, and a talent for turning the tragedy of his life into a smile adorned with a red nose. This man was not only a genie, but a genius. I hope that Pr. Keating did like his students who climbed on their tables and found a better angle to see the world from above the sky.

Not so long ago, I posted a cartoon of Mandela where I was making slightly fun of his fragile health. Today I feel rather guilty and I hope that I didn't influence Fate in any way. In a homage to the ex-activist who spent 27 years in prison for his struggle and who in result became sick of seeing black separated from the white on his cell uniform, I made this caricature of Madiba. Rest in peace.
