This holiday period has been quite eventful for me since I will be published in two different magazines :

Firstly there is this caricature of Cardinal Brady I had the pleasure to do for indipendent Irish magazine Rabble. For those not familiar with this man, let's say that Cardinal Brady is a clergyman with a lot of scandals attached to him. Some time ago it was revealed that during his priesthood two young boys went to tell him there were being molested by another priest, Father Brendan Smyth. Brady and his colleagues asked the boys to stay silent about the whole affair and covered for many years the action of a paedophile who went on with his activities and crimes. In the meantime, Brady became cardinal. He is currently asking to retire after 75 years of services for the Church, which led a lot of people to say that it was a bit late to have remorse...

Then, still on a rather tragic tone, this little cartoon of the eventually-not-bicentennial man will be featured, among other incredible artists in a tribute book for Robin Williams published by Mad Publishers. For every book bought the entire benefits will be donated for St. Jude's Children Research Hospital, a charity for which Robin Williams was a regular contributor. I am happy to participate to this event and honour at the same time the memory of an actor who was such a big par of my childhood...
